Rigging Techniques
Rigging Soft Plastics
There are multiple ways to rig FHS Plastics. These methods work for both the Trix Worms and Trix Minnows.
Standard Rigging:
6#-10# Fluorocarbon Leader Material 36-48″ Long
Thread on the Action Disc, then bobber stop, then bead, then tie on the hook.
Thread the plastic all the way to the eye of the hook.
Alternative Rigging:
6#-10# Fluorocarbon Leader Material 36-48″ Long
Thread on the Action Disc, then bobber stop, then bead, then tie on the hook.
Thread the plastic as far over the hook and up the line as possible, exposing the hook near the tail of the bait.
Alternative Rigging to Reduce Short Strikes:
6#-10# Fluorocarbon Leader Material 36-48″ Long
Thread on the Action Disc, then bobber stop, then bead, then tie on the hook.
Thread the plastic to the bend of the hook and pop out the side of the bait. Slide the threaded plastic up the line until the hook is even with the tail.
